If you apply for one of our volunteering programmes through our website, we will receive all of the information you enter into the application form. This information is transmitted to Google servers for storage and is kept indefinitely. Access to this information is strictly limited to the LCTW staff members who need it to process your application. Contact us/Report wildlife crime
If you contact us through our website or report a wildlife crime, we require your name and email address to send you a copy of your message and to be able to reply to you. This information is emailed directly to us and not stored by this website or used for marketing purposes, unless you opt in to receiving our newsletters.
If you choose to make a donation to us, we will only retain your contact details if you have given us permission to claim Gift Aid, or if you have signed up to our newsletter either independently or as part of the donation process. We never receive your bank or card details and we never share your information with other charities.
Donations made through one of our fundraising platforms may be processed by Virgin Money Giving, GlobalGiving or PayPal. Their privacy policies are linked here and we encourage you to read them if you have any concerns.
A cookie is a small text file containing information that we store on your device, if you agree. Learn more about cookies at aboutcookies.org.
Embedded content from other websites
This site includes embedded content including videos from YouTube. Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
We also use Google Ads’ free conversion tracking features on certain pages. If you apply for a volunteer programme, sign up to our newsletter, make a donation, or contact us in another way, we may track your visit anonymously to help us understand the path you took.
What rights you have over your data
You can contact us at any time to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you. We may charge a small fee for this. We are happy to correct any inaccuracies and delete any personal information at your request.
Where we send your data
In addition to the uses mentioned above, your data may be transferred to our offices in Laos or the UK. We have taken all the steps necessary to make sure your data is adequately protected when it is transferred to a jurisdiction where data protection laws are not as strict as the UK.
If you have any questions concerning your personal information or our use of it, please feel free to contact us.
